Horticulture: Residential/Consumer

Residential and consumer horticulture includes the home production of vegetables, flowers, lawns, ornamentals, and other plants in a noncommercial manner. Extension programs in this area address the horticultural needs of homeowners and the general public in regard to proper management of home lawns, gardens, and ornamental landscapes. Residential horticulture touches so many aspects of Tennessee residents’ lives from food production, to environmental stewardship, to quality of life.

Home Garden Variety Trials
