May 26-30, 2025 at Clyde York 4-H Center in Crossville, TN. Registration deadline is May 9. Youth in grades 5th through 9th (as of 1/1/25) can attend a camp dedicated to shooting sports, the 4-H Target SMART camp. The cost for the camp is $385 which includes the camper’s room, meals, activities, as well as ammo and target cost. Firearms and archery equipment are provided, so no need to bring your own. Just come enjoy a week full of shooting sports and also free time to spend in the camp’s Olympic-size swimming pool, at the camp’s wildlife center, or canoeing at the lake (among other activities).
Campers will get to experience all disciplines through a rotation of Shotgun, Muzzle Loader, Archery, and Rifle stations throughout the week. Also, we plan to try to incorporate some evening hunting skill as well.
To register for 4-H Target SMART camp:
- Download the 4-H Target SMART brochure and complete the registration form included in the brochure
- Download and complete the 4-H Activity and Event Acceptance Form (600A)
- Turn in both the completed registration form and the completed 600A to the Extension office, along with payment of $385 (payable by check to University of Tennessee or by credit card or cash in the office) by May 9.
