4-H Junior Camp

June 8-12, 2026 at the Austin 4-H Center in Greeneville, Tennessee. Youth who have completed 4th, 5th, or 6th grade can attend 4-H Junior Camp, held in the Tennessee mountains in Greeneville. Camp registration fee ($400) is due by May 21 and can be paid online at tiny.utk.edu/4HJrCamp or at the Extension Office.

Campers choose from lots of activities, including arts and crafts, tie-dyeing or airbrushing t-shirts, swimming pool with water slide (certified lifeguards on duty), woodworking, Gaga ball, fishing, zipline and low ropes course, wildlife walks, stream studies, fun physics activities, canoeing and kayaking, fossil room, archery and rifle range, and group games. A recreation tournament and fishing tournament will be held. Special programs in the last few years have ranged from robotics and drones to dog agility displays. The cabins, dining hall, and recreation hall are all modern, air-conditioned facilities with adjoining bathrooms. Homecooked meals are served.

Camp registration is open now, and space is limited. Once the camper limit is reached, your child will be added to a waiting list. Cost is $400, which includes transportation to and from camp in a chartered bus, meals, lodging, t-shirt, and activities. Online registration and fee payment is available at tiny.utk.edu/4HJrCamp

Parents/guardians can also come by the Hamilton County Extension Office during office hours (8-4:30 Monday – Friday) to register their child and pay for camp by cash, check, or card. The 4-H activity and event form (600) is available online and must be turned in to the Extension office by May 21 for all campers.
