June 9-12, 2026 at University of Tennessee Knoxville. Applications are due to the state 4-H office by March 30, 2026. Youth who have completed grades 6th, 7th, or 8th receive extensive, hands-on training in project areas under the supervision of university scientists and specialists on the UTK campus. The conference will provide a variety of rewarding and fun-filled experiences including classroom, outdoor, and laboratory settings. Delegates stay in a UTK dorm and have group events such as a pool party, a banquet, and field trips. The cost to attend 4-H Academic Conference is $110.
