The 2026 4-H Destination Design will travel to two locations this year: Asheville, North Carolina and Charleston, South Carolina! There will be experiential learning activities and tours all based around Interior Design and Architecture as well as more great educational activities to participate in during this adventure! Lodging for both destinations will be at a Hampton Inn and Suites.
Applications: All Senior High 4-H members are eligible to apply. Preference will be given to 4-H members who have: a) submitted a Level 1 or Level 2 portfolio in Clothing and Textiles or Line and Design, b) participated as finalists in the aforementioned project areas at 4-H Roundup and/or, c) attended Fashion and Design Conference in the last five (5) years. Registration: Once applications are received, please wait for approval before being registered. The planning committee will consider applications in the order they are received and Extension Agents of selected participants will be notified to register participants on May 4th and be provided the registration link. Registration will be required no later than Monday May 11, 2026.
Please note, this event is limited to 15 participants. Cost for the trip is $425 per participant and should be paid to the county office upon acceptance and registration. Participants can pay in full or make the $100.00 deposit with the balance being due no later than May 11th.
