4-H Jr High Camp brochure – register by June 5
July 6-10, 2026. Held in July at Clyde Austin 4-H Center in Greeneville, Tennessee. Youth who have completed 6th, 7th, or 8th grade can attend Junior High Camp. The emphasis of this camp is individual development, group dynamics, and fun competitions. Campers go on field trips and participate in service projects. Highlights include attending an Appalachian League baseball game and participating in a campwide pool party – and don’t miss the slime wars!
The cost is $400, which includes lodging, meals, and activities. Camp fee may be paid online or at the Extension Office by cash, check (payable to University of Tennessee) or credit card. Deadline to have all forms and fees to the Extension Office is June 5, 2026. Forms required for camp include a completed 600A (Activity and Event Acceptance form) and completed 600M forms for ANY medications the camper will bring to camp. Transportation to and from camp is available for a limited number of campers (up to 10 campers), so let us know if you need this option when you register. Otherwise, parents/guardians are responsible for transportation to and from 4-H Junior High Camp.
Junior High Campers get to choose which activities they prefer, whether it’s paddling a canoe down the Nolichucky River or touring Bright’s Zoo to see rare and exotic animals from across the globe.
