4-H for Homeschoolers
All 4-H community clubs in Hamilton County are open to home educated youth in grades 4th-12th (ages 9-19), as well as to youth in public or private schools. Join fellow homeschoolers by joining 4-H and participating in the community club of your choice. Most community clubs meet during the school year and are on hiatus in the summer.
Read the current Hamilton County 4-H newsletter to find out which clubs are currently meeting – you can find the newsletter on the main 4-H page of this website. Call the Extension office (423-209-8560) for more information.
Do you have questions about how your child can become involved in 4-H? The answer is to enroll them in 4-H and come to a meeting – it’s as simple as that! Find out which club meetings are coming up in the current 4-H newsletter on the main 4-H page of this website.
Interested in leading a 4-H club in a particular subject area? Call the Extension office for details on becoming a volunteer leader for a 4-H community club. To find out about dates for club meetings and keep up with current 4-H activities, please join our email list to receive the monthly 4-H email newsletter (email HamiltonCounty4H@tennessee.edu and ask to be added to the newsletter list).
There is no cost to enroll in 4-H, and you can join at any time by completing an enrollment form and mailing it to the the Extension office or by joining online. 4-H programs are available to grades 4th-12th.
