What is Hamilton County 4-H?
Hamilton County 4-H is a community of young people across our area who are learning leadership, citizenship, and life skills.  Young people can participate in 4-H through club meetings, special interest groups, after-school programs, camps, special educational events, and many other activities.  "Learning by doing" through hands-on activities and community involvement empowers
4-Hers to develop and strengthen life skills.  4-H is certainly a family affair.  This includes the parent-child relationship and the extended family of community and state.  It is a unique blend of government, private business, and volunteers working together to broaden the horizons of Tennessee's young people.  Most importantly, 4-H is fun and educational for both youth and adults! 


Who sponsors Hamilton County 4-H?
Hamilton County 4-H is a program of The University of Tennessee Extension - Hamilton County.  4-H is supported through federal, state, and county government.  Private donations also come through organizations like the Tennessee 4-H Foundation, Inc., as well as through local businesses, local organizations, and private citizens.  We are very grateful to all of our supporters, whose generosity makes Hamilton County 4-H possible!
